and disables the car from starting. Do you always need the wireless remote to operate the vehicle properly? If entry by the rear hatch is needed with the vehicle key….how can this work without running into a disabled alarm sounding car? Thanks.
The secondary remote is broken due to the casing fell apart and the unit was lost. The drivers side door will not open using a key due to a mechanical problem with the lock when trying to use the key. So when I pick the vehicle up for use, I need to have the person supply the remote or the vehicle is alarmed and disabled.
Do you think homes are alot less likely to get burglarized if you have an alarm especially a sign in the front that says you have one? Any experiences?

Why don’t they learn to use a gun, learn karate, install a burglar alarm system, etc?
A guard dog is useless the second an intruder shoots and kills the dog. One blast and the dog is gone, therefore making way for the intruder to come in and kill the family.
Ok, anyone smart who owns a dog doesn’t leave a door open. They may have a screen door, and that’s fine. But my dogs aren’t guard dogs, and they let me know if someone’s coming.
My dogs are a Toy Poodle and Poodle/Schnauzer mutt. Both bark when someone comes to the door.
Then, if it actually IS an intruder, you might be dead yourself before you can pull your dog away.
We are talking about people having guard dogs for their homes…I’m more understanding of this where certain businesses are concerned.
Most of the time, someone breaking into a home has a deadly weapon, like a gun. Even if it’s just to steal stuff. And yes, they will shoot and kill your dog if it means access to your house. A barking dog doesn’t scare someone with a gun off.
