Ok, I’m a junior in high school, and I believe I’ve reached that age where I am looking for a more mature room. I want to put a bed frame and headboard on my bed, first off. Then I would like to attach storage shelves to the back of my bed, for on-hand storage of my remotes, game systems, games, movies, alarm clock, phone when its on charge….etc. Along with this I would like to buy an LG LCD tv with a wireless input router. Doing these few things will allow me to remove some shelving in my room, move my dresser and allow for easy cleaning and an overall improved look to my room. Now, I realize this could be an expensive "renovation" but I feel it will add to the simplicity and maturity of my room. I would be able to pass on my old tv and HD receiver to my little sister, along with giving the shelving to the rest of the family to use as needed. Now on to my question, I work a minimum wage job on the weekends which does not allow my money to go anywhere other than fixing my car. I would like to convince my step-dad to loan me this money for the transformation of my room. Any ideas as to how I can pitch this so as to make a convincing point toward the loan? I was thinking about focusing on the better look of the room, how I am almost out of the house, and also how the new tv would use up to 40% less energy than my current tv.

I have 2 PCs on a wireless network. Both have Norton AV and Zone Alarm. My father refuses to install either on his laptop. Is it unsafe to allow his laptop on the network?
I would like the sweet features like key-less entry and remote start. But i’ve heard bad things about viper and i just don’t know anything about alarm systems. What do you think would be best. Cost is less important but i’m not rich at all.
I want a home security system for house flippers.
1) I want to be able to setup a combination of wireless and wired devices.
2) I want to setup hidden motion detectors, microphones and speakers.
3) Hook up a hard or Cell line to the system.
4) if something triggers an alarm i want be called and be able to:
a) have my phone ring and tell me which sensor was triggered
b) Be able to listen on the system microphones.
c) Be able to forward my voice through the system to a room in the house to give the appreance that someone is home.
d) Activate Lights on in the house to give the appearance of someone being home.
e) possible even monitor the system or forward video through the internet.
5) This system should be designed to be easily hidden, installed and moved to another location.
Does this system exist.
