I figure having the little sticker or sign could be a good first line of defense to keep intruders at bay, but would this be illegal if you didn’t actually buy the alarm system? I figure you can’t be mad at someone who is only trying to be safe? (I’m NOT considering doing this, it’s just a question out of curiosity)

My wireless key transmitter is completely broken. I opened my car door–Bam!!! Never ending Alarm (until my husband disconnected the battery.) After visiting other websites I was advised to locate the valet/service switch located ‘under the dash area.’ Well after an hour of looking I cannot find this switch/button. Can someone give me exact directions as to where this switch might be. I just don’t have for a tow truck to drag it to the dealer then spend another for the service guy to "look" at it and then purchase new transmitters when I could just flip a switch. Someone please help. The more specific the better!!! Again, 10pts for the first helpful answer.
