Did she call her a nigga??
@Pianoguy32113? “Naughty girl.”
One of the scariest moments in movie history if you ask me. Stephen King? Total puss.? Wes Craven? Nothin. This is FREAKY!
When I was little I thought the heads were evil… but? here they actually look terrified and like yhey might be trying to warn Dorothy.
Maybe they were heads originally belonging to other, unluckier girls that the witch captured
@CinnabonChan I always thought? the other heads were terrified, but the line from the real head… “DORRROTY GAAAAALLLLE!” was imprinted into my mind for weeks after I saw this. This was pretty intense for kids.
@reachingsumwhere Jesus, the 80s and the early 90s were so freaking intense for kids! There is no way a movie for children would have a Sigourney Weaver lookalike with detachable screaming heads. I’m surprised this wasn’t in a Silent Hill movie. I heard a story saying that the heads originally belonged to several captured maidens and were a present from the Nome King. Or maybe he grew them in a test tube… Ill shut up, there. ? This movie is freaky enough without fan interpratation.
@CinnabonChan OK I think you have just become my psychiatrist for the the day my friend. You called her a Sigourney Weaver lookalike. In? Ghostbusters, when possessed Dana suddenly awakens after the containment grid was shut off, the image of her awakening terrified me beyond recognition (I saw it when I was 3). So this is Mombi waking up in a similar manner – I don’t know which I saw first but now maybe I know why they both scared me so much. Thanks!
YOURE A NIGGEEEEEERR?
She should have taken the witch’s head as hostage. The headless body? cannot see her.
OOOOOOOKKKK. And this movie was rated what???? A kids movie???
This caused me many nightmares. ?
@CinnabonChan the head belonged to the dancing girls who where turned to stone by the knome king?
@sheluvssmokedupeyes1 I remember now, its something i didn’t really notice when I watched it the first time.
Its amazing how? a movie thats already pure nightmare fuel can actually get creepier as you get older.
Disturbed minds? created this movie
This was my favourite part when I was a kid… “Doooorrrrthyy Gaaaaaayyyyyyyyllle!”? 0.o *all the heads are screaming*haha… they don’t make movies like this anymore Im glad I grew up with 80s movies.. and 90s movies were pretty good too
fuck this movie?
I? can’t believe I wouldn’t watch The Wizard of Oz as a child, because I was frightened of the witch, yet I didn’t bat an eye at this and it was my favourite film!
20 screaming female heads yea gave me nightmares? & a headache women LOL
i could hardly watch this part as a little girl
now omfg
i still get chills?
That princess isn’t any Celty? Sturluson let me tell you. How have I not heard of this before?! I think I’ll stick to the sugar coated one instead…
The thing everyone forgets is that this whole headless princess thing wasn’t created by the? moviemakers. Everyone always talks about how disturbed they were, etc. But Mombi was from the original Oz books. So we’ve got L. Frank Baum to blame for this
haha
Best part? of the movie!
the nerd was right, that was disturbing? @_@
I walked downstairs once when I was about 6? years old and my parents were watching this. I only watched this scene and didn’t know what the film was, but hell did this scene give me nightmares.
So Return to Oz was on last week, and I was watching it. The way my jaw dropped when this scene came on….
Dorothy’s like ‘omg? shuttup you’ll wake that beeatch up! Your such a pain in the neck!’
(cheesy puns)
