This feature is most useful at night when you’d like to arm your system and stay in the home or if you have large pets and you’d like to arm the security system and bypass the interior motion detectors of the home. In order to arm your security system in the Stay Mode, you must ensure the green indicator light on the key pad is illuminated. This indicates that all of the zones of the system are closed and ready to go. On an old key pad, you will see a green ready light. On the newer system it will be a green check mark indicating that the system is ready to be armed in stay mode. To arm the system in stay mode, simply open the cover find the key in the upper right hand corner of the key pad that has a little house with a man inside of it. Press and hold that key for 2 seconds. The system is now armed in stay mode.
