The remote function on my key-fob is not working properly and will not unlock the doors when i "point and click".Can i temporarily `de-activate the system until i get the key fixed, and simply manually lock and unlock the car by inserting the key in the driver door lock? Any help much appreciated.

I have an apartment in Dallas now for two months, which is pretty safe to live but I live alone and I am a college student on the first floor so I would like to feel more than safe. I think an alarm system will help me.

I purchased a self install kit from Wal-Mart that use strips where you can place it by the doors(wireless). The problem is, my door has an outline boarder so the strips will not line up on the door at all. Any other suggesstions? ie other alarms self install that does not require strips?

I don’t remember the exact details before he appears into my dream, but whatever. Mike was in the “big” gym playing basketball against some girl and I happened to be passing. I don’t know exactly what happens, but she falls and he trips over her. He “crushed” her because he’s pretty tall and injured her; bruised her I believe.
I don’t know if it was the fact that I saw him trip or I saw him fall over and land on the girl that got him mad at me because I started running. He’s like Jane* I know its you, you’re the only girl here who wears those skater "Michael" pants from Hollister (Michael= the name of the style of pants.)
I’m running and he chases me around our high school campus and somehow over hills. I lose him for a few minutes and manage to sneak into the girls’ locker room. I lock the doors so he can’t come in. I ask out loud if that girl was in there. She didn’t answer, but I hear her trying to move. I ask her if she’s okay and she’s like yeah, I’m fine. I ask why he seemed pissed that I saw that happen. She said she didn’t know, but he has been gotten pretty mad when people have seen them play. I say oh and ask her if she needed help. She says no and tells me I better get going. He might have someone try to get in to check.
I look back to her as I unlock the door before I head out. The next thing I know, I round the corner and run right into him. Mike goes, “we need to talk.” Then he takes my hand** and we go to his house. When we get there we go to his laundry room and start talking there. Mike says, “I don’t know what you saw there, but it wasn’t anything.” He seemed flustered, but I didn’t comment on that thinking he might get mad at that too. I was like, “Yeah, I know I saw her fall and you trip over her. What did you think I saw?”
He doesn’t answer that and starts pacing. He messes up his hair then "swishes" it back into place. It’s quiet for a few minutes during this time.
Mike is the one who breaks the silence. He tells me he needed to change into something more comfortable. He also tells me not to leave because he’ll be right back. I told him not to worry, I wasn’t going anywhere until we finished this talk. Then he left, leaving me alone in his laundry room.. Right after he leaves, his mom comes down
She asked me if the two of us got into a fight and if he went up to change. She adds, “He always goes up to change when he does something wrong. I told her I honestly didn’t know if we got into a fight or if he did something wrong or if I was me who did something wrong. She says oh and gets back to her laundry.
Then one of my former friends, Robbie***, appears and asks Mike’s mom if there is a charge for making long distant phone calls. She’s said only if you use a wireless phone. Then she goes to a drawer and gives him a cord that she keeps for these times. I don’t know if Robbie noticed I was there. He didn’t acknowledge my presence if he did. After taking the cord and thanking her, he leaves. That’s the last we see of him.
I watch Robbie leave. Then I turn to Mike’s mom and ask her if it was alright if I went upstairs to find Mike and see what’s taking him forever. She says yeah go right on ahead. As I’m getting to the top of the stairs he’s coming out of his room. He doesn’t notice me because he’s doing that thing where guys walk and put a shirt on a the same time. He almost runs into me, but I move to the side. I say his name before he can take a step down the stairs and ask him what is going on with him. He turns and pulls me into a tight hug. As he starts saying something my alarm goes off.

Sorry, I know it’s a lot to read, but I was wondering what you think it means. You dont have to go all out and interpret every little thing, an interpretation of the dream in general is fine.
By the way, I liked Mike for a while in the past, but I’m not sure if I still do.

I made a hidden redstone circuit that not only opens metal double doors (which could be put at the entrance of a decoy vault) at the press of a button, but sets off an alarm seconds later. To trigger the alarm, the button powers a diagonal booster track, sending a minecart onto a detector track, which then powers the block, but is inverted, so the power to the note blocks is turned off, switching the power source to a rapid repulser, which will play the notes, sounding the alarm. This could be used to catch intruders in your house, and if your house is built properly, possibly out of obsidian, you could trap the intruder inside, so you could come see who it is, unlike most other traps, which usually kill the intruder.

I’ve had electrical problems with my 2004 Chevy Colorado. At first I thought just the dome light was the only electrical problem I had but now I have found out that not only does my dome light turn on by itself, my doors unlock without warning. If my doors unlock by themselves and a thief opens my door and takes items from my truck, can my insurance company refuse my claim? If the doors do come unlocked on their own, the alarm (horns) will sound when they open the door since it is designed so that if you lock the doors with the wireless remote you must use the wireless remote to open the doors or it will set off the alarm. Still, can an insurance company refuse my claim even though the doors came unlocked on their own and my alarm still sounded as the person broke into my truck which would be an indication that I locked my truck before leaving?
I’ve made attempts to fix the electrical problems and while under warranty I had this problem and the dealer replaced the same BCM module twice. It fixed the problem for a month or two then it came back. Since I am no longer covered under warranty, I’ve skipped replacing the 00 BCM modules since I at first thought the electrical problems didn’t involve the doors unlocking until now. For now I am saving up to buy another truck.

I Go Through Another Door and It’s Almost Pitch Black In This Room. I Hear A Voice And Go Towards It (This Part Maybe From My Fear Of Being Alone In A Dark Room). When I Reach It, It’s Actually A Video Playing On A Hanging TV Where Two People Are Talking About The Part Of Walmart I’m In. They Said Something Like, "In This Room Is Where We Keep The Most Valuable and Hunted Things Of The World." Then They Seemed To Look At Me Like They Knew I Was There. Then They Say, "In This Room We Have Tractor Beams (Actually Beams That Set Off An Alarm If It Senses Your Presence By Stepping Into Them). This Alerts Security And Takes The Intruder To Our ‘Guillotine’." A Black Light Turns On And The Beams Appear As A Faint Neon Green. At This Point, I Leave Without Setting Off The Beams. I Wake Up And Then Go Back To Sleep. The Dream Restarts And It Gets To The Point Of Where I Want To Leave After Watching The Video. When I Do Try To Leave, I Get Caught In The Elastic Strings Holding The Lights and Step Into The ‘Tractor Beams’ and Set Off The Alarm. The Doors Open and Then I Wake Up.

Okay..well we just recently we reprogramed the ademco vista 10-se alarm in my house… it is not being monitored by ADT at all.. so the system is working and the siren and alarm is working but theres one problem the wireless door/windows (mostly on the doors) contacts or magnet contacts that suppose to chime when the door opens or trigger the alarm doesnt work.. theres a total of 3 in the house and none of them work do i need to reprogram them if so how? because i reseted the system… or is it the battery i think its the battery since its been like 8 years since we used the system…
the doors wont chime when they open.. & the system wont read them…
yes.. my system is set to chime… do i need to program it or something..

I am a very small man (five foot four, 113 pounds) living in a really bad neighborhood (Echo Park, Los Angeles). I have a locked gate on my yard, burglar bars and doors, an alarm, motion activated floodlights, and a gun. But sometimes I am here alone, and I get scared at night. Which of the above dogs would be the most likely to instinctively protect me if an intruder got in?
I live in a ghetto. A gang member could kill a Yorkshire Terrier with one stomp. If you think a Yorkshire Terrier could defend me from a gang member with a 9mm handgun, you are not someone I want to talk to about life and death issues.

It was a couple a minuets ago that check one of my doors to make sure it was locked and secure for the night and I checked to see that my cheap intruder alarm worked and as I walked out of my entry way five minuets later my alarm sounded and I went back finding no evidence of burglary but I did here something that sounded like footsteps across the street and near the end of the street there appeared to be an ambulance

should I be worried

1) I only had 2 hours of sleep last night which caused me to be extremely tired all day including now.
2) I couldn’t get my homework done at school like I planned to do this morning b/c all the computers in the library were full.
3) I couldn’t get my program to work for programming class so I had to submit it wrong w/o a matching flowchart.
4) I found out that I have 5 days instead of 2 weeks to finish a research project that I have not started yet.
5) I went to wal-mart to get my watch fixed and they said that they can’t fix CASIOs b/c wal-mart is not allowed to touch them.
6) I locked my d@mn keys in the car and I forgot the code to get in. So the police had to open the doors.
7) The Kiosk at Verizon Wireless stole a .00 bill from me. I could not prove that it happened so I didn’t get it back.
I almost had a bad wreck on the way home.
9) and many more little things that add up to one big thing.

The day’s not over yet. There’s probably more to come.
